1. What this policy covers
Cookies are browser files; local storage keeps values in the browser until removed. JobPassIn uses these technologies for requested language preferences, authentication, onboarding and security. Whether consent or an exemption applies depends on the purpose of the technology and applicable law.
2. Language preference
jobpassin_locale stores the selected language for up to 365 days and is refreshed when the preference is written. The local-storage key jobpassin.locale also remembers that choice and has no automatic expiry in the application. Change language using the selector or remove the stored values in browser settings.
3. Authentication and onboarding
The authentication cookie maintains sign-in. Without Remember me it is a browser-session cookie, while server session validity is 12 hours; Remember me uses a persistent expiry of 30 days. Sessions may end sooner after sign-out, revocation or account-security changes. The deployed cookie name is configured by the operator.
jobpassin_onboarding is an HTTP-only onboarding/checkout cookie with a 24-hour token lifetime; it may be cleared or replaced during the flow. jobpassin_v2_admin_session is for authorised administrators, with a 15-minute lifetime. These are not advertising identifiers.
4. Security providers and optional tracking
Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded on registration to help distinguish legitimate users from automated abuse. Cloudflare receives technical browser/device information; its own privacy notice describes that processing. Edge-security technologies can vary with a request and provider configuration. This policy does not claim that security processing is cookie-free or anonymous.
The current application does not include optional analytics or advertising trackers, an optional-cookie category panel, or a Global Privacy Control processing feature. There is no sale or cross-context advertising sharing to opt out of in the current service. Account agreement and continued browsing are not consent to optional tracking.
5. Your controls and contact
Browser settings can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking session or security technologies can prevent sign-in, registration or checkout; browser session restoration may preserve some session cookies. Clearing a cookie does not delete server-side account or transaction records.
