CHOICE BEFORE TRACKING

Cookie Policy

This Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Jobpassin V2 may use and the controls that will apply before optional tracking is enabled.

V2 publication notice

This document applies when Jobpassin V2 is made publicly available and will be reviewed against the final production features before launch.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small data files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, SDKs, and identifiers used to remember a choice, maintain a secure session, measure use, or support communications.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

These technologies support security, load balancing, fraud prevention, session continuity, checkout integrity, language or privacy choices, and other functions the user requests. They cannot always be disabled through a consent control because the relevant feature may not work without them.

3. Preference technologies

Preference technologies remember optional settings such as language, destination, interface choices, and previously entered non-sensitive preferences. Where consent is required, they remain off until permission is given.

4. Analytics technologies

Analytics helps us understand aggregate usage, diagnose performance, and improve user journeys. Jobpassin will configure analytics to minimise data and will obtain consent before use where required. We will not treat silence or continued browsing as consent where affirmative consent is required.

5. Advertising and marketing technologies

Jobpassin will not activate advertising or cross-site marketing technologies without the notice and choice required by applicable law. If introduced, the preference interface will identify the purpose and relevant provider before activation.

6. Managing choices

Before optional cookies are introduced, Jobpassin will provide an accessible preference control that allows acceptance or rejection by category and makes withdrawal as easy as giving consent. Browser controls can also delete or block cookies, although blocking necessary technologies may affect requested features.

Where legally required, Jobpassin will recognise a valid Global Privacy Control or comparable browser-based opt-out signal. A signal does not replace consent where a separate affirmative consent is legally required.

7. Duration and provider list

Session technologies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent technologies remain only for the period stated in the live preference interface. Before production activation, Jobpassin will publish the provider, purpose, category, and duration of each non-essential technology actually in use.

8. Updates and contact

This Policy will be updated when cookie purposes or providers materially change. Questions may be sent to support@jobpassin.com.
